Half day city tour

The coach brings tourists up to the Prague Castle. Tourists will see the Prague castle – residence of Czech kings; St. Vitus cathedral – one of the biggest and the most beautiful in the world; Golden Lane – small ancient street with fairy small houses and Franz Kafka’ house. The tour includes the visit of the Royal Palace, famous with its huge Wladislav Hall. After the Prague castle tour proceeds along the Kings’ road to the Lesser town area. In this area everybody will admire the St. Nikolas church - the best sample of Baroque in Prague. Then tour proceeds to the world famous Charles Bridge. During the tour of the bridge travelers will hear lot of mystic, fantastic, but real stories that came from the depth of the centuries. Continue of the tour: Old town, Jewish quarter, Wenceslas square. The Old town square with famous Astronomical clocks is the historical center of the city and site of many significant events; there is a monument to the reformer Jan Hus by Ladislav Saloun. Old Town square is unique complex of architectural and historic monuments. Jewish quarter is remarkable with seven synagogues remain from this old settlement which includes the Jewish Town Hall and the Old Jewish Cemetery - the oldest in Europe. Wenceslas square is the shopping center of Prague. In the upper part of the square is the statue of St. Wenceslas with four patron saints of Bohemia. A neo-Renaissance building of the National Museum is the main landmark of the square.

Day 3: PRAGUE

Karlstejn Castle Tour

A visit to a majestic gothic castle built 650 years ago on a picturesque site in the middle of dense forests, about one hour drive from Prague. For many visitors this is one of the most popular destinations. After the visit of the castle, a traditional Czech lunch will be served in the restaurant Bohemia. A special menu for vegetarians, diabetics and children is available. The price includes entry to the castle and lunch.  

Day 4: PRAGUE-VIENNA

Afternoon Sightseeing Tour and Schonbrunn palace visit

With Vienna Sightseeing no waiting time at Schönbrunn Palace! This tour will give you an overall impression of the most significant historical sights of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse we show you numerous grand buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the magnificent Museum of Fine Arts with its world famous art treasures of the Habsburgs and the Natural History Museum,  the cultural district the MuseumsQuartier, theHofburg (the former Habsburg winter residence), the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. The highlight of this tour will be a visit of the showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace, once the summer residence of the Habsburg family and home of Maria Theresia. On the way back to the opera we pass by the Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugen, which houses the largest and the most precious Gustav Klimt collection in the world. In case the City Tour ends at Südtiroler Platz - free transfer to State Opera! 

Day 5: VIENNA

Vienna Woods Tour

A half-day excursion which shows you the most beautiful sights of the southern part of the Vienna Woods. Passing the Roman City of Baden which is famous for its thermal springs, we drive through the romantic valley Helenental to the former Mayerling hunting lodge, (visit of memorial chapel), where Crown Prince Rudolph together with Baronesse Vetsera died tragically in 1889. In the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz (1133) you visit the medieval cloister which houses the remains of the lastBabenberger.  We then pass the Höldrichsmühle and arrive at the Seegrotte. After a boat ride on the largest subterranean lake in  Europe you leave the Vienna Woods and return to Vienna. Tour ends: Opera

Day 6: VIENNA-BUDAPEST

Train to Budapest 

Half day city tour

We start the tour from the Chain Bridge, pass by the Parliament and take the Margaret Bridge to drive over to the Buda side. We stop in the Castle District and during a short walk we show you the main attractions of the area. We walk to Matthias Church and to the Fishermen’s Bastion (from where you can enjoy the beautiful panorama).Next, we drive to the Gellért Hill (Citadel) and show you the most spectacular view of Budapest. We then take you over the Elisabeth Bridge to Pest and show you the famous Central Market Hall and the largest Synagogue of Europe, after which we drive to the City Park. We pass by Europe’s largest thermal spa, the Budapest Zoo and the Amusement Park, then stop at the Heroes’ Square (with statues of the most famous Hungarian kings and dukes).We then take the Andrássy Avenue to downtown Pest, pass by the Opera House and the St Stephen’s Basilica. During the tour we offer a brief overview of the last 1000 years of Hungarian history. The Tour ends in the city-centre. Legenda boat tripSound, view and vision, Budapest sightseeing boat trip on the river Danube. You are invited for an hour’s panoramic sightseeing cruise at night on the Danube Legend boat. Glass in hand you will be able to experience how the legends of Budapest come alive. Look behind the walls of the Royal Palace, the Parliament, the bridges, and other splendid sights all bathed in light.First, we welcome you with a glass of champaign and later you have a choice of beer, wine and a sort of soft drinks. 

Day 7: BUDAPEST

Szentendre village tour

We take you to the picturesque Artist’s Village, called Szentendre. We wander around the baroque settlement, built on medieval ruins and walk along the narrrow streets. We invite you for a Lángos (fried Hungarian flat bread)*.Then you will have the opportunity to go shopping or to visit the Margit Kovács Ceramic Museum or the Confectionery Museum (marzipan figures).During the summer (between 1st of May and 30th of September) we return to Budapest on the Danube by boat. The tour ends in the city centre.

Morning City Tour

For over a thousand years, Krakow has been the center of science, culture and art in Poland. Come and see for yourself upon boarding the Krakow City Sightseeing Tour by Coach. You'll see the likes of Wawel Castle and Cathedral, the Rynek Glowny, Main Market Square and St Mary's Church. It's a fine introduction to this historic city!Your tour begins with a short walk along the streets of the former Jewish district of Kazimierz. Next, Wawel Hill, crowned by Wawel Castle and Wawel Cathedral and the seat of royal power up until the 17th century. The Castle was home to many Polish kings and queens and the royal crypts in the Cathedral their final resting place, along with several other Polish heroes.A walk up Grodzka street leads you to the heart of Krakow, the Rynek Glowny, or Main Market Square. There the large Gothic Cloth Hall is the perfect place to shop for local souvenirs.The last sightseeing stop is the twin-spired St Mary's Church with its famous medieval altar by Wit Stwosz and where, every hour the brave trumpeter of Krakow still calls out his warning.                         

Afternoon Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour

Leave Krakow behind and spend a fascinating morning or afternoon touring the legendary Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the oldest salt mines in Europe. Along with the mine's historical importance, its carvings of fabulous figures, monuments and altarpieces have earned the Wieliczka Salt Mine a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list.Legend has it that the salt mines were part of the dowry of the Hungarian princess, Kinga, when she married Boleslaw the Shy over 700 years ago. You'll tour the richly ornamented Chapel of the Blessed Kinga and visit an underground salt-mining exhibition on Level 3.Your guided tour takes you from 210 to 440 feet (64 to 135 meters) underground, passing through galleries and chambers on three levels. The guided walk consists of 20 monumental chambers joined by 1.5 miles (2.5 kilometers) of pathways.Entering the Wieliczka Salt Mine, you'll descend a 380-step staircase to Level 1. Although this walk is not strenuous and can be undertaken in ordinary footwear, it will need to be considered when booking this tour. The last stop on your visit to the mine is the souvenir shop and snack bar. From here, a lift carries you back to the surface. 

Day 10: KRAKOW

Half day Auschwitz-Birkenau Tour

Leave Krakow for a morning or afternoon to visit the UNESCO-listed Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. This sobering half-day trip will have a lasting impact, commemorating the lives of those who died in the extermination camps during the Holocaust of World War II.Auschwitz-Birkenau is the best-known cemetery and place of genocide in the world. Started in 1940 as a concentration camp for Polish political prisoners, in 1942 the camp became a center for the extermination of European Jews. During the years 1940 to 1945, approximately 1.5 million people died there. The majority of the camp's victims were Jews, along with Poles, Gypsies, Russian POWs and members of other nationalities.Your tour of this haunting site begins onboard the coach with a 15-minute documentary about the liberation of the camp. On arrival at the museum, your guide will show you the exhibitions in some of the surviving prison blocks, the gas chamber and the crematorium.After a short break, the tour continues to Birkenau, where the view from the watchtower above the entrance gate reveals the forbidding expanse of the biggest Nazi concentration camp built during the Holocaust. A Martyrdom Museum was set up here in 1947, and in 1979 Auschwitz-Birkenau was added to UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites.
